In every course, including mine's, it is stated that executing the stakeholder identification process right from the project's beginning stage is needed. After starting, maintaining a continuous vigilance in stakeholder identification across all phases of the project's lifecycle is of paramount importance. Stakeholder register is the main result of this identification process.
As previously highlighted, stakeholders encompass individuals or groups with the inherent capacity to exert influence over your project's objectives. Only this sentence can prove the importance of them. Conversely, people who are susceptible to being impacted by the outcomes of your project are also considered as stakeholders.
Even in unexpected times, stakeholders may come forth and harm your project or may cause positive effects. The trick here is using their effect for the success of the project by engaging stakeholders in project decisions and actions. This ensures value delivery at the end of the project.
